We will have Kids Ministry (Birth-5th Grade) for the 9:00 and 10:45am service.

Parents of Birth – 5th Grade,

We are so excited to have your kids back at church during Kids Ministry during the 9:00 and 10:45am service! We have upgraded and added to our Kids Wing and cannot wait for you to see it. As we get ready for your return to Sunday morning Kids Ministry (Birth-5th grade) we, like the rest of society, has had to make changes to our normal operating procedures. Please read the points below to be aware of some new changes and be reminded of old procedures. Bottom line: We hope that our return back to Kids Ministry is safe and fun and reminds us of the beauty and joy found in the fellowship of believers! (Hebrews 10:23-25)

  1. Parents should conduct self-screening protocol prior to leaving home by taking their child's temperature. If your child has had a fever in the past 24 hours, please remain at home.

  2. Masks are welcome, but not required and will be provided if you would like one.

  3. Please reduce the items that come in with your child. Put only what is necessary for that short time period into a bag with your child’s name on the bag and on each item.

  4. A volunteer will check you in at our new Check-In kiosk. Please pay attention to your child’s sticker as kids have been promoted and will be in new grades or classrooms.

  5. Wash hands or use hand sanitizer prior to entering the Kids Wing or classroom.

  6. Because children do not naturally social distance, we cannot ensure that they will.

  7. Special Green and Red Stickers- When checking in, parents will determine if their child gets a Green or Red sticker to wear. Green is for “Ready to Fist Bump/Hug” and Red is for “No Fist Bumps/Hugs Yet”. This will help kids know if they can be close to a friend, or will need to keep some distance. This will help with that awkward “Where is your comfort level?” question that we are all dealing with right now. Parents, please have this conversation with your children before dropping them off, so they know where your family stands on distancing comfort level.

  8. Please know that all of us teachers and staff, will do our best to respect the Green and Red stickers, but if the safety of your child is concerned, we will bypass the sticker color to keep everyone safe in case of an emergency.

We may have a few more procedures in place but know that does not diminish the JOY and EXCITEMENT that we have about seeing your children again! We can’t wait to be together again, learning about Jesus and growing together as believers!

A Note For Everyone in Attendance: COVID-19 is highly contagious and is known to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. By attending, you agree to follow the procedures established by the church to protect attendees and staff, and you voluntarily assume the risk that you and/or your family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 either at the church, in the church worship service, or in the kids departments. You agree to assume all the risks of attendance and participation for you and your family, and you waive any liability against the church and any other parties.
