Hello Church Family,

Small change of plans for Sunday, July 5th - we are NOT having Kids or Preschool programming this Sunday and will be meeting only on Zoom for our Youth Group this Wednesday, July 8th. As many of you know, we’ve been taking each week at a time as we plan for Kids Church, Youth group, and other church wide events.

As your church staff, we hold the health and wellness of our church as one of our top priorities, so over this past few days we have been in prayer for wisdom and discernment as to what is wisest for our church family. With a big holiday weekend and many people out and about, and with the rise in cases locally, we have decided to make the prudent decision and not have Preschool, Kids, and Youth programming this week.

We will still have in-person church at 9am and 10:45am. If you plan to attend, we ask you to look over these 4 questions and answer them honestly to keep our whole church family safe. If you answer YES to ONE of these questions- please stay home and enjoy church online.

·       Has anyone in your household been in close contact with a person with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19? (If you answer YES to this, please consider getting tested immediately and isolating your household until test results come back)

·       Does anyone in your household have a cough, sore throat or shortness of breath?

·       Has anyone in your household had a fever of 100 degrees or greater in the past 72 hours?

·       Has anyone in your household had any vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours?

If there is anyone who is the saddest about this decision, it’s me- Ms Andrea. I have LOVED getting to teach our kids about the Armor of God the past few Sundays and hangout with the Youth on Wednesday nights. Tell your kids that I’m sad too, but being obedient to the Lord is more important than having fun with friends.

I’ll leave you with this verse that we were going to study in Kids Church this Sunday- “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Live in His Peace and know that He has overcome it all.

Have a Wonderful 4th of July with family.
